The Simpsons have landed.
Below are the dot codes for the minifigures. This lot came from different boxes within the UK. Please be aware that dot codes are unreliable and might (evidence from others suggests they will!) differ from those below so you should always have a feel of the packet to work out what is inside! I’ve given some hints on this below. The dot code can offer you a quick check only and is potentially useful for double checking you haven’t got two of the same in your hand, although different boxes may have different codes.
Homer is the only character with the two piece flat stud remote. He also has the small stud doughnut. These are small to find so try and shake the bag a bit to get them to the bottom of the packet to feel for.
Bart is fairly easy as his skateboard is quite large. You will know it if you find it. Feel for the wheels to confirm. Bart has some fabulous details – the shorts and t-shirt have a slingshot combo printed on them.
Marge’s hair is what you are looking for here. Confirm with the 2×2 title but don’t rely on that. She’s all about the hair! She also has a lovely handbag!
You should be able to feel her saxophone. She’ll also have short legs.
Maggie is adorable. The one piece body is brilliant. The battered teddy is pretty cute too. You’ll want to feel for the teddy and for the bag without legs.
Ned has a great tool kit. Look at that. Brilliant! You can find Ned with the mug. It’s fairly distinctive feeling piece and he’s the only one with it. Confirm with the toolbox.
Krusty, who are you going to hit with that pie? Check for the pie and the pronged hair.
Milhouse and Ralph are very similar, so you might have to just go for it (I just grabbed the different dot codes for these guys.) Feel for the 2×2 tile and the short legs. Milhouse’s head is less flat than Ralph’s but that’s quite hard to tell in the bag.
As with Milhouse, Ralph only comes with a 2×2 tile (albeit an awesome one!). I think the main difference is that Ralph has a flatter head. Confirm with the difference in dot code.
You should be able to feel out his ears and the big mallet he’s carrying.
Scratchy is pretty neat. He comes with a softer rubber head and detachable tail. You’ll be able to feel that tail and confirm with the axe.
15. Chief Wiggum
Feel for the ray gun. No wait, that’s a loudspeaker. Feel for the loudspeaker and confirm with the baton.
16. Mr Burns
Mr Burns has a LEGO piece that is like a LEGO head fishbowl so feel for this. He will also have a straight piece with a bump that’s the nuclear rod. Might be confused with the baton from Chief Wiggum so be careful.
If you want to help out with any of the bump codes and any differences you notice or tricks for feeling the figures out, leave a comment!
